Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There are no ads or paid features, and everything is free. KIOQU Mahjong is developed and run by an individual.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start playing right away without entering a name or email.
How is the best discard decided?
By efficiency only. The best discard leaves the lowest shanten and the most accepted tiles (tiles that advance the hand). Hand value, safety, and discards on the table are not considered.
Do rules (red fives, open tanyao, etc.) change the answers?
No. Answers for waits and discards depend only on hand shapes and efficiency, not on table rules.
How do I use it on iPhone or iPad?
